Benefit

You will receive a one-off payment of up to 5,000 DKK (about 670 EUR). You can use this money to fund your education or set up a business. It comes from a Danish charitable foundation which was established in 1964 to support young people from Gudumholm, a village near Aalborg in northern Denmark.

Eligibility

• Where you are from: You’re from Gudumholm. That’s the most important requirement.
• What the money is for: You want to fund your studies or set up a business.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Money you need: If you are experiencing financial difficulties, you have a better chance, although this is not a prerequisite.
• Region: A connection to the Aalborg area helps, but is not required.
