About this scholarship

Peder Christensen's Travel Scholarship

You get a grant for a study trip abroad that benefits farming. About 10,000 DKK (around 1,340 EUR) is handed out each year, split between several recipients. Your individual amount depends on where you go and how long you stay. By the fund's rules it is never below 1,000 DKK (about 135 EUR). The money covers a single trip. Afterwards you must hand in a written report about it. The scholarship is run by the Nordjylland Agricultural School (Nordjyllands Landbrugsskole) in Nibe, Denmark.

  • Your schooling: You have attended an agricultural school.
  • The trip: You travel abroad for a study trip that benefits farming, including forestry.
  • Language: You speak the language of the country you travel to.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Where you live: You can apply from anywhere, but people living around Hobro and Aalborg in northern Denmark (the Agrinord and Familiebruget i Himmerland area) get priority.
