About this scholarship
Ølgod El-Fond education grant
You will receive a one-off grant towards your education. The amount is not specified. You can use the money to study anywhere you like, not just in Ølgod. The grant comes from the Ølgod El-Fond (the Ølgod Electricity Supply Foundation of 1984). This charitable foundation was established when the town’s cooperative electricity supply company was wound up and its assets were transferred to a fund for charitable purposes.
Who can apply
- Connection to Ølgod: You currently live, or have lived in the past, in the town of Ølgod or in the municipality of Ølgod. This is the most important requirement.
- Purpose: You need the money for education or training.
- Field of study: Any subject.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
- Not funded: Political, commercial or economic interest groups.
How to apply
Please complete the application form for educational purposes (‘Ansøgning uddannelsesformål’) on the Foundation’s website. Submit it together with your degree certificate, your references, proof of residence and your tax assessment notice. You can apply at any time; the application deadline is 1 April. You will receive a response approximately three months after your application has been received.
