About this scholarship
Fynsk Erhvervs Study Grant (H. Chr. Petersen Foundation)
You will receive about EUR 2,350 per grant award, which is paid out twice a year. The amount corresponds to your fee for a consultancy assignment carried out abroad on behalf of a company based on the Danish island of Funen (Fyn). The scholarship is administered by Fynsk Erhverv and co-funded by several foundations, including the foundation established by the industrialist H. Chr. Petersen and his wife, which supports young people from the worlds of commerce and industry on study trips abroad.
Who can apply
- Degree: You are enrolled on a university degree programme leading to a Master’s degree with a focus on business or the skilled trades.
- Ties to Funen: You were born and brought up on the island of Funen (Fyn), or you have lived there for longer than it takes to complete a single degree.
- Where you go: You’re planning to spend a semester or do an internship abroad.
- Consultancy task: During your stay abroad, you will carry out a specific task for a company based on Funen and document this in a separate report.
- Report afterwards: After you return, you submit a written report to Fynsk Erhverv, signed by that company.
- Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted via the online form, which can be accessed via the link on the Fynsk Erhverv website. The application deadline is 1 May for a stay during the autumn semester and 1 November for a stay during the spring semester. Four foundations co-fund this scholarship, so you can apply to each foundation – up to four per stay.
