Adolf Andersen's Family Scholarship

You will receive a grant as a grant towards your education or living costs. The amount is not fixed in advance. The Board decides on a case-by-case basis, taking into account your financial needs and whether you are pursuing an education. The fund was established in 1951 by Adolf Andersen, the former owner and director of the Hotel Terminus in Copenhagen, to support his own relatives. It is administered by ‘Adolf Andersen’s Legacy’ in Denmark.

Who can apply

• Family link: You are a relative of Adolf Andersen. That is the most important requirement.
• You apply as a person: You are applying as an individual, not as an organisation.
• Who signs the application: No age restriction. If you are 16 years of age or older, log in using your own MitID (the Danish digital ID). No one can submit an application on behalf of children under 16 years of age.
• Financial need: Priority goes to applicants in financial difficulty and to those applying for education. You show your income and assets with your latest tax statement.
• Field of study: Any topic is possible.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted online via the fund’s application link. The form is only available each year from 1 March to 1 April, meaning that the deadline for applications is 1 April. You log in using your MitID or, if you do not have one, your email address. All applicants will receive a response in June, when the grants are awarded.
