Filtenborg Travel Grant

You get a one-off travel grant to help pay for a study-related trip abroad while you study at Aarhus University in Denmark. The amount is not published. The board decides each grant on its own, so the sums vary from award to award. The money comes from a Danish foundation that supports students at Aarhus University. The foundation runs four funding streams; this entry covers only the travel grant.

Who can apply

• University: You are studying at Aarhus University and can provide proof of enrolment.
• Purpose of the trip: The trip must be directly related to your studies, for example, a study visit to a university or institution abroad. You must enclose proof that you have been admitted there.
• When you travel: You must not have left before 1 August of the year the board awards the grants.
• Who applies: Individuals only, no groups.
• Field of study: All subjects.
• Nationality: Any nationality, provided you are studying at Aarhus University.

How to apply

Please apply via the online form on the Foundation’s website; only this form will be considered. The application deadline is 1 March each year. The Board reviews all applications at its annual meeting in May. Please enclose a short letter of motivation, your CV, a certificate of enrolment and your admission documents from the foreign university.
