About this scholarship
Benefit
You will receive a one-off cash grant, which is intended to help you continue your agricultural training in Denmark. The amount of the grant is not determined in advance. It is intended to support young farmers who, having completed their basic agricultural training (grunduddannelse), wish to undertake further theoretical training. The grant is administered by Hjørring Municipality (Hjørring Kommune) in North Jutland.
Eligibility
- Local ties: You have a connection to the former municipality of Løkken-Vrå, which is now part of the municipality of Hjørring.
- Occupation: You work, or have worked, in agriculture.
- Education: Once you have completed your basic agricultural training, you will undertake further theoretical training.
- Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. What matters is your connection to the region, not your passport.
How to apply
You should submit an application form to the Borgerservice (Citizens’ Service Centre) in Hjørring. The deadline is 1 September, and the grant will be paid out in September.
