About this scholarship
Esade Bachelor scholarships (Barcelona)
You will receive financial support for your Bachelor’s degree at Esade in Barcelona of up to 100% of your tuition fees for the entire duration of your studies. The programme comprises various types of funding:
- The Talent Scholarship covers 60% to 100% of your annual tuition fees, depending on your family’s financial situation and your grades.
- The Lodging Scholarship pays 50% to 100% for a place in an ESADE hall of residence if you live outside the province of Barcelona.
- With Living Scholarship, you will receive 450 euros per month towards travel costs and the day-to-day costs of your studies.
- One-off merit-based grants help to cover tuition fees in the first year.
Who can apply
- University: You have been admitted to the Bachelor’s degree programme at Esade in Barcelona.
- Grades: You must have achieved an average mark of at least 8.5 out of 10 in the final two years of your Spanish ‘Bachillerato’, or an equivalent result (for example, 33 out of 42 in the International Baccalaureate or 16.2 out of 20 in the French Baccalauréat).
- Financial need: Your family cannot cover the full cost of your studies. This applies to scholarships; merit-based scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of academic performance.
- Where you live: Support for accommodation costs applies exclusively to students who live outside the province of Barcelona.
- Field of study: All bachelor’s degree programmes at Esade are eligible.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
How to apply
Once ESADE has admitted you, you should apply online. A scholarship committee will then decide whether to award you a scholarship.
How realistic are your chances?
According to Esade, 46% of the undergraduate applicants who applied for a scholarship were awarded one; a well-suited candidate therefore has a genuine chance. The most important selection criterion is the grade threshold of 8.5, combined with demonstrable financial need, which narrows the field down to high-achieving students who genuinely cannot afford to pay the full tuition fees. If this applies to you, apply immediately after you have been admitted to maximise your chances.
