About this scholarship

What the Becas Generales UCAM cover

This is not one single scholarship. It is an overview of general grants for students at UCAM (Universidad Católica de Murcia) in Spain. It combines state grants from Spain's Ministry of Education with UCAM's own support. The state general grants pay a variable amount based on your family income and your grades, so there is no fixed monthly figure. UCAM also offers internal help: paid roles assisting a department or service, extra money for studying abroad, aid for students with a recognised disability, and grants for top-level university athletes at master's level.

Who can apply

  • Where you study: You are enrolled at UCAM on a bachelor's, master's, higher vocational training (FP Superior) course, or the FP-to-degree transition.
  • Field of study: Any subject offered at UCAM.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you are enrolled at UCAM. Some master's grants for studying abroad are aimed specifically at Latin American students.
  • Financial need and grades: The state general grants depend on your family income and your academic results.
  • Disability: Extra aid is available if you have a recognised disability of 33% or more.
  • Large families: You get a family discount when more than two of your siblings study at UCAM at the same time.

How to apply

You apply for the state general grants through the Ministry of Education portal (becaseducacion.gob.es). For the 2026/27 year, the main window ran from 7 April to 19 May 2026. You request UCAM's own internal grants through the university scholarship office or the Campus Virtual.
