What the ESADE need-based scholarship gives you

This scholarship is worth 50% to 85% of your ESADE MSc tuition fee and covers a large proportion of the tuition fees at ESADE Business & Law School in Barcelona. For a one-year MSc programme with tuition fees of 39,000 EUR, this represents a saving of around 19,500 EUR to 33,150 EUR. For the two-year programmes, which cost between 55,200 EUR and 82,200 EUR, the reduction is even greater. Only a limited number of these scholarships are awarded each year, and they cannot be combined with other ESADE prizes or awards.

Who can apply

• Programme: You have been admitted to an MSc programme in Management at ESADE (e.g. in the fields of Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Management or Sustainability Management, including the Global Master’s programme and the two-year combined programmes).
• Test score: You have achieved an above-average result in the entrance examination (GMAT or GRE).
• Financial need: You can provide documentary evidence to show that you and your family are unable to cover the tuition fees from your own resources.
• Nationality: Open to any nationality.

How to apply

Once you have been admitted to an MSc programme, you should apply via ESADE’s online scholarship form and upload documents demonstrating your financial situation. ESADE recommends that you apply for the scholarship at the same time as your MSc application. A committee will then assess your test results and financial needs together.

How realistic are your chances?

The award is open to all admitted MSc students, but two strict selection criteria narrow down the pool of applicants: an outstanding result in the entrance test and a proven financial need. As the number of scholarships is limited, there is fierce competition amongst those who qualify. If you clearly meet both the test and financial need criteria and apply early, along with your admission application, your chances are good.
