About this scholarship

What you get

For a study period abroad leading to a double degree, you will receive 400 EUR per month. This means that, upon completion, you will obtain a degree from both the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and a partner university abroad. A one-semester stay is funded for up to 7 months, whilst a full-year stay is funded for up to 10 months. The stay must last for at least 3 months. In addition to the monthly allowance, you will receive a one-off travel allowance, the amount of which depends on the distance to the host university – ranging from 28 EUR for short distances up to 1,735 EUR for the most distant destinations. Under these double degree agreements, you are generally exempt from tuition fees at the host university. Euromovex is a programme run by the UPV itself, which is funded entirely by the university and has a total budget of 120,000 EUR for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Who can apply

  • Your university: You are enrolled on a Bachelor’s (Grado) or Master’s degree programme at the UPV.
  • Where you go: You have a confirmed place on a dual degree programme at a partner university abroad for the period 2025–2026, which has been approved by your faculty, and can provide evidence of admission from that university.
  • Field of study: Open to all subjects.
  • Nationality: Open to all nationalities. If you are not a Spanish national, you will need valid residence documents for Spain for the entire duration of the work placement.
  • No double funding: The stay must not be funded by Erasmus+ or any other UPV mobility grant for the same period. Furthermore, you must not have previously received any Euromovex funding.
  • In person: You must study abroad in person. Virtual stays are not eligible for funding.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted online via the UPV’s internal AIRE system as part of the ‘Euromovex 2025/2026’ call for applications. The deadline for applications is 5 September. Selection is based solely on academic criteria: applicants are ranked according to a comparison of their average mark with that of the previous year’s graduates in their degree programme. There will be no interview.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is aimed exclusively at UPV students who already have a confirmed place on a dual-degree programme abroad; the target group is therefore quite small. If you have secured this place and are unable to fund it through Erasmus+, you are exactly the right person for this programme. Your ranking depends on your grades relative to your degree programme; good results will therefore improve your position.
