About this scholarship
Excellence Scholarships for the Law Double Master's
You will receive a 80% discount on the tuition fees for a dual Master’s degree programme in Law at the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain). This will reduce your enrolment fees; it is not a monthly payment. The scholarship covers the entire duration of the dual Master’s programme, which lasts 15 months: approximately 10 months of lectures, plus 5 to 6 months of work placement and a final dissertation. The University of Navarra awards these scholarships in collaboration with leading law firms such as Clifford Chance, Ernst & Young, Gomez-Acebo & Pombo, Linklaters and Perez-Llorca, in order to support talented students with limited financial means.
Who can apply
- Programme: You enrol on one of the dual Master’s degree programmes in law, for example ‘Entry to the Legal Profession’ combined with business law, tax consultancy or digital law.
- Your degree: You hold a degree in law, economics or business administration, or a dual degree combining these disciplines.
- Grades: Your marks are above average, roughly higher than 7 out of 10.
- Where you studied: You graduated from a Spanish university.
- Financial need: Limited financial resources, along with your marks, work in your favour.
- Language: You have a level of English equivalent to B2, which is generally a prerequisite for the Master’s programme.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
How to apply
Apply for admission online via the university’s applicant portal by 30 June. Admission is decided on the basis of a written examination of legal knowledge and a personal interview; several rounds of examinations take place throughout the year. The award of the scholarship is independent of admission, so you must apply for it yourself.
How realistic are your chances?
This scholarship is very narrowly defined. It applies only to specific dual Master’s degree programmes in law at a single university and gives priority to applicants who can demonstrate both outstanding academic results and a proven financial need. As a result, the pool of applicants is smaller than for open scholarships. If you clearly meet the academic requirements, can provide evidence of your financial situation, apply early and sit the entrance exam, your chances are good.
