Construction Promotion Foundation - Scholarship

Benefit

You will receive a grant to fund academic research in civil engineering and the construction sector. The amount and number of grants vary from year to year, so there is no fixed sum. The Foundation supports high-calibre research, in particular doctoral theses and licentiate theses. A licentiate is a Finnish research qualification that is situated between a Master’s degree and a PhD. The grant is awarded by the ‘Rakennusalan edistämissäätiö’ (RES, Foundation for the Promotion of Construction), a Finnish foundation established in 1984 to promote research and the arts in the construction sector.

Eligibility

• Field: You work in construction and the building field.
• Level: You are carrying out high-level research, for example as part of a PhD or a licentiate thesis.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• University: You can apply, regardless of which university you are studying at.
