Pharmacy Fund travel grants (University of Helsinki)

You will receive financial support for a study-related trip, such as a conference or a research visit abroad. The Pharmacy Fund awards annual scholarships and travel grants totalling up to 3,000 EUR in total, which are divided amongst the selected students. The fund is one of over 350 funds managed by the University of Helsinki’s funds. You must spend the money within three years of it being awarded, otherwise it will lapse.

Who can apply

• University: You are studying pharmacy at the University of Helsinki.
• Degree level: You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are studying at the University of Helsinki.
• Your trip: Your trip clearly connects to your studies. The grant should make a real difference to whether you can afford to go.
• Grades: You have achieved good results. Your credits and marks are assessed in relation to the duration of your degree programme.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the University of Helsinki’s funding portal, which is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The application window for 2026 runs from 14 January to 6 February 2026 at 23:59. Please attach your academic transcript as a PDF file. You will be notified of the decision by the end of April.
