Pharmacy Fund scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant from a total fund of up to 3,000 EUR, which will be allocated to one or more pharmacy students as part of the 2025 call for applications. You may use this grant towards your studies or for related travel, but you must spend the money within three years of the date of approval. The grant comes from the Pharmacy Fund, one of over 350 funds managed by the University of Helsinki’s Funds, which together award around 400,000 EUR annually to students and researchers. All recipients will be invited to a spring reception with the donors.

Who can apply

• University: You are studying at the University of Helsinki.
• Degree level: You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student.
• Field of study: You’re studying pharmacy.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Study progress: Your marks count, as do the credits you have earned in relation to the duration of your degree programme.
• Extra activities: Work experience, elected positions and involvement in the academic community can strengthen your application. If you apply for a research grant or work on a thesis, a research plan also helps.

How to apply

You should apply online via the University of Helsinki’s funding portal and attach a summary of the credits you have earned as a PDF file. References are optional. The application deadline is 6 February, and you will receive a response by the end of April at the latest.
