INP Mobility Grant

You will receive a one-off payment of approximately 400 EUR (ranging from 200 to 800 EUR, and sometimes more) for a study period, an internship or a dual degree programme abroad. The amount depends on the mobility plan you submit, which is your written proposal for your stay abroad. For a full academic semester abroad, you may also receive an additional bonus of 800 EUR. The funding comes from Toulouse INP, an engineering institute in France comprising the universities ENSIACET, ENSEEIHT and ENSAT. It supplements other funding, so you can combine it with Erasmus+, the AMI ministerial grant or regional funding.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are an engineering student at one of the INP universities in Toulouse, such as ENSIACET, ENSEEIHT or ENSAT.
• Field of study: Engineering.
• Where you go: You’re going abroad. At ENSIACET, you must spend at least 3 months abroad to obtain your engineering degree, and this scholarship will help you cover the costs.
• What counts: A study exchange lasting at least one semester, a laboratory or work placement abroad, or a double degree at a partner university.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are enrolled at one of the schools listed.

How to apply

Submit your mobility plan to your university’s Office of International Relations. A committee will review it, and the Education Council (CFVU) will then vote on it. Decisions on the award of funding are made three times a year: in November, February and June.

How realistic are your chances?

This is an internal supplementary grant for students at certain engineering universities who are already required to study abroad. As the target group is small, this is not a widely advertised, open scholarship. If you are enrolled at one of these universities and submit a well-thought-out mobility plan, your chances of receiving funding are good. Completing a full semester of study also triggers an additional bonus of 800 EUR.
