About this scholarship
ENSAE Paris need-based scholarship
You will receive monthly grant of up to 670 EUR based on your family's income plus full exemption from ENSAE Paris tuition fees. The grant is valid for one year and may be renewed. The exact amount is based on the national CROUS scale and therefore varies from student to student. CROUS is the French authority responsible for administering student grants. ENSAE Paris (École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique) is an engineering school near Paris. It awards this grant to support students who are unable to finance their studies entirely themselves. You may combine this grant with other public or private scholarships, provided the total amount remains within your maximum entitlement.
Who can apply
- Programme: You are enrolled on the engineering degree programme (Cycle Ingénieur) at ENSAE Paris, in any specialism.
- Nationality: You are an EU citizen or have been tax resident in the EU for at least two years.
- Non-EU students: You may only apply if you have been admitted under a dual-degree partnership that entitles you to a scholarship (in particular African statistics schools), and if you are not receiving an Eiffel scholarship or a scholarship from your home government.
- Financial need: Your family’s income is not enough to cover the full cost of your degree.
- Progress: To retain your grant, you must attend your modules, sit your exams and make satisfactory academic progress.
- Not eligible: Third-year students with a vocational training contract, students on paid work placements, and exchange or ‘free-mover’ students.
How to apply
Complete the annual student social file (Dossier Social Étudiant) online via the French CROUS portal. The deadline is 31 May, and you must reapply every year. If you are an international student on an eligible dual-degree programme, please send your documents to the Student Life Department as soon as you have received your letter of admission.
