Autonomous Community of Catalonia - "Equitat" Grants

General Description

This scholarship is intended for undergraduate students at Catalan public universities (including the Open University of Catalonia (UOC)). Universities will apply a fee reduction of €3.76 per credit for ECTS credits enrolled for the first time; further fee reductions are calculated through a formula which takes into account the total amount of funding available for these scholarships, the number of applicants and the household income of each applicant.

Requirements

Students eligible to apply must be pursuing an undergraduate degree (bachelor´s degree (Grado), Licenciatura, engineering and architectural degrees) at a public university headquartered in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. Candidates must be Spanish citizens or citizens of a member state of the European Union. Applicants in possession of an university degree issued by a Spanish public university will not eligible to apply; an exception will be made for holders of Diplomaturas and other previously existing three-year degrees.
