National University Of Ireland - NUI Art and Design Prize at NCAD

NUI Art and Design Prize at NCAD

You will win 1,500 EUR if your final-year project is selected as the best piece at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) final-year exhibition. This is a purchase prize, which means that the National University of Ireland (NUI) will acquire your winning piece. It will be added to the university’s own art collection and exhibited on the university’s premises in Dublin. The NUI has been awarding this prize every year since 2004.

Who can apply

• Your college: You have completed your degree at the NCAD. There is a separate prize for graduates of the Burren College of Art.
• Field: Your work falls within the Art and Design department.
• Your work: You will produce an outstanding piece of work, which will be displayed at the NCAD’s annual final exhibition.
• Nationality: Any nationality can win. What counts is your work and your college, not where you are from.

How to apply

No application is required. All graduates whose work is shown in the NCAD Graduates’ Exhibition are automatically considered, and the winner is selected from this exhibition.
