About this scholarship

What you get

You will receive a 1,000 EUR honorarium (a one-off cash prize), a part-time placement with the psychology team at Enable Ireland in Cork, and a certificate confirming the award. The placement will enable you to gain practical experience in the application of psychology in clinical and care settings whilst you are studying. Enable Ireland is an Irish national charity that supports children and adults with physical disabilities. It funds the scholarship at University College Cork (UCC). The award is named after Ann Moloney, who taught applied psychology at UCC for 30 years and worked as a senior psychologist at Enable Ireland in Cork.

Who can apply

  • University: You are currently a student at University College Cork.
  • Programme: You are enrolled on the taught master's in applied psychology with a mental health focus (MAAP-MH) at the School of Applied Psychology. "Taught" means the course is based on classes and coursework, not a pure research degree.

  • Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are enrolled on this UCC degree programme.

How to apply
