University of Limerick - Coolmore Prize

Coolmore Prize

You will receive the medal, which is awarded once a year to the student who delivers the best final presentation on the ‘LM093 B.Sc. Equine Science’ Bachelor’s degree programme at the University of Limerick. Coolmore Stud, one of the world’s leading thoroughbred breeding operations, sponsors the prize. You will receive it during the University’s autumn graduation ceremony. The prize does not carry a monetary value.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are a student in the final year of the Bachelor’s degree programme ‘LM093 B.Sc. Equine Science’ at the University of Limerick.
• What counts: You give the best final-year project presentation, as judged by the assessors.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.

How to apply

There is no application process. The panel of judges, who assess the presentations of the final-year projects, decide on the winner – so you have to earn the win through the presentation itself.
