About this scholarship
Colm Ó hEocha Bursary
You will receive the 3,000 EUR as a one-off award for one academic year. The University of Galway awards this prize each year to a student who commences a full-time Master’s degree programme taught in Irish. It was established in honour of Dr Colm Ó hEocha, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University. You may receive this award alongside other funding, scholarships or grants, so it will not reduce your other sources of financial support.
