About this scholarship
Book vouchers for deserving students (University of Bari)
You will receive a sum of one-off 260 EUR voucher, which you may spend exclusively on books. The University of Bari (Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro) pays out this amount once per academic year. For 2025/26, the university has allocated a total of 140,000 euros; it therefore selects applicants based on a ranking list until the funds have been exhausted.
Who can apply
- University: You are enrolled at the University of Bari for the academic year 2025/26.
- Not a first-year student: You cannot apply if you are enrolling for the first year of a Bachelor’s degree programme or a single-cycle 5- or 6-year Master’s degree programme.
- Study progress: By 30 November 2025, you must have earned at least 80% of the credit points (ECTS/CFU) specified in your study plan for all previous academic years. Work placements, laboratory practicals, seminars and professional placements are not counted towards this total.
- Grades: Your average exam mark is at least 28 out of 30.
- On track: You are not a student who has fallen behind in your studies (fuori corso), you are not repeating an academic year and you are not on a leave of absence.
- Financial situation: Your ISEE (Italy's official measure of household income and assets) is below 35,000 EUR.
- Field of study: Open to all subjects.
- Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted via the university’s online form between 1 and 31 December 2025. Applicants will be ranked from highest to lowest score using a points-based system, and the vouchers will be awarded in order of this list until the funds have been exhausted.
How realistic are your chances?
The eligibility criteria are strict: you must be studying in Bari, be well ahead with your coursework, have a grade point average of 28/30, and not exceed the income threshold. This means that the number of eligible applicants remains small. If you clearly meet all these requirements, your chances are good. However, as places are allocated in order of ranking until the 140,000 EUR has been used up, both good grades and submitting your application in December are crucial.
