General information on this scholarship
General Description
The Hungarian State Scholarships offered for full PhD programmes last for 36 months. These scholarships are conditional upon the successful entrance admission/exam to the respective Hungarian doctoral school and there is no required tuition fees. HUF 100 000 stipend a month will be paid by the host institution while the accommodation at the university will be paid by the holder of the scholarship. Scholarship-holders from the Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia and Poland will receive the stipend from the sending party and the respective scholarship offices of the country will determine the amount.
Requirements
The limit of age is 35 years.
Those who are with a residence/migration permit or in course of applying for a permit in Hungary are not eligible. Foreign students who have permanent residence in Hungary or employed on permanent basis aren’t eligible too. Those who are in employment applying for part-time studies or for programmes that are not financed through Hungarian State aren’t eligible for applying.
