General Description

The Study Scholarships are presented to give foreign graduates of all disciplines the ability to have their postgraduate or Master’s degree course. It will be at a public state or state-recognized German higher education institution in addition to gaining a degree in Germany (Diploma/Master’s). The scholarship will be given for the period of 10-24 months depending on the duration of the chosen study project or degree course. Mainly, it is given for only one year, but students with excellent academic achievement can have extended scholarships. The DAAD is going to be paid as a monthly fund of 750 euros.

Requirements

Only excellent qualified graduates are eligible to apply who at least hold a first degree (Bachelor’s, Diploma or other equivalent academic degree) when they commence their scholarship-supported studies. Applicants’ presentation of the reason for the planned study project in Germany will be another element on deciding the awardees. They should have the notification of issued admission through the German host institution for the chosen degree course. If the previous case is not available then they should present the notification to the DAAD before the studies supported by the scholarships start. They should have good German Language skills excluding those who are enrolled in programs taught in English. Applicants who are living in Germany for more than 15 months cannot be eligible for the scholarship.
