About this scholarship

What you get

You will receive a monthly grant to cover the costs of your studies at a higher education institution. The money is paid out over the course of the academic year, and the amount is calculated on an individual basis according to your household income. For the 2026/2027 cycle, the Alcobça City Council (Câmara Municipal de Alcobça) in Portugal has allocated 240,000 EUR and is awarding 260 grants. This amounts to an average of approximately 923 EUR per student. The funding is aimed at students on TeSP programmes (short, vocationally-oriented higher education programmes), Bachelor’s programmes (Licenciaturas) and Master’s programmes (Mestrados).
