Kingston University makes it a priority to assist its students. One way the university does this is by offering the Care Leavers Bursary to qualified students. To be eligible all applicants must have been under the care of a local authority, or they have to have been a foyer resident. The bursary is valued at £1,500. It is paid to the student in three installments.
All applicants must be registered at the Kingston University. They must also have been in local authority care, or have been a foyer resident. The university will verify this information. It also does checks to ensure the applicant is a home student.
