General Description

The Kennedy Scholarships serve to allow UK PhD students to spend one year of postgraduate study at Harvard University or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Both institutions welcome students on the Kennedy scholarships, and will often fund the second and third year of postgraduate studies themselves. About six to eight Scholarships are awarded which cover tuition and health service fees, the cost of travel to and from the USA and provide an allowance of $24,500 for the year. Plus. they may apply for an additional travel grant.
