General Description
The University of Sheffield if offering the Interdisciplinary PhD Studentship Networks. These interdisciplinary network scholarships provide an exciting opportunity for individuals to experience research training from several departments and become part of teams that will open up new fields of research and develop long-term interdisciplinary collaboration. Each PhD student will have two supervisors from two different disciplines and will be expected to contribute to community activities and the growth of the network. Value: the UK/EU tuition fees; tax-free maintenance stipend of EURO 17,350; a Research Support Grant of EURO 1,250 per student per year for travel, consumables etc. Length: 3 years.
Requirements
Awards are open to UK or EU candidates; should have, or expect to achieve, a first or upper second class UK honours degree or equivalent; You should be applying to start your first year of study on a full-time PhD with the University.
