General Description
Graduate students going to study American History at the University of Oxford are eligible for an Oxford-Rothermere American Institute-Clarendon Graduate Scholarship. It is funded by the university and by donations. It includes a grant for living expenses. This is worth over £13,700. University tuition fees are also paid by the scholarship. It lasts for the duration of the course. If this is more than one year there is an annual review.
Requirements
Students must be starting a DPhil in History, specialising in American History, at Oxford in order to qualify. They must also be from the European Economic Area or Switzerland. The award is given to the best student based on past academic performance.
