General Description
The Academia Sinica has established the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) grants to provide international graduate students with the opportunity to study a doctoral degree in Taiwan. Recipients will be awarded NT$34000 (currently about 820 euro) monthly for a one-year period which can be extended for another two years if the student´s academic results are good enough.
Requirements
Applicants must have completed a Bachelor and/or Master of Science degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering. They are required to demonstrate their English proficiency by means of a TOEFL score of at least 550 on the paper-based examination, 213 on the computer-based examination and 79-80 on the Internet-based examination.
