General Description

The Hungarian State Scholarships offered for partial studies last for 3-10 months. The scholarships are available for Undergraduate students (BSc/BA) and Graduate students (MSc/MA) who are enrolled at foreign higher education institutions especially the students whose majors in Hungarian Language. In Type A, students are allowed to apply once on occasion at the bachelor’s studies and once at their master’s studies. There will be HIF 40 460 stipend a month that are paid from the host institution while the accommodation in a university residence hall will be covered by the holder of the scholarship.

Requirements

Applicants for Type A scholarship must have completed at least two semesters at their home institutions. The limit of age is 30 years.

Those who are with a residence/migration permit or in course of applying for a permit in Hungary are not eligible. Foreign students who have permanent residence in Hungary or employed on permanent basis aren’t eligible too. Those who are in employment applying for part-time studies or for programmes that are not financed through Hungarian State aren’t eligible for applying.
