The Scholarship for the Best PhD students is the Academy of Fine Arts’s reward for the PhD students that have shown great promise. The amount of the money received is not fixed and depends on the Rector’s arrangements with the University’s PhD Students Council. It is granted over the course of ten months, with exception of the last year – then the scholarship is granted over the course of five months.
The PhD student needs to have their average grade higher than 4,50 in a given year. They also need to have very good exam results, shown progress in scientific studies as well as great commitment to didactic work.
