General Description

42 La Caixa Foundation supports the International PhD Programmes of recognized Spanish biomedical institutes and Centers in order to promote an excellent science level in Spain. The selected institutions will participate in the CRG International PhD Fellowship Programme “La Caixa”- Severo Ochoa for outstanding and talented students with outstanding qualifications pursuing a PhD in biomedicine at the CRG. The beneficiaries of these fellowships will join to research groups with high-level scientist to carry out their research that can be developed in bioinformatics and genomics, cell and developmental biology, gene Regulation, Stem Cells and Cancer and Systems Biology. Selected students will experience an international scientific environment and they will receive advanced research training and an internationally competitive salary. There are a total of 4 fellowships and these can last up to 4 years.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a university degree in biomedical sciences within the European Higher Education or a university degree from their home country that grants them access to a PhD programme. They should have an excellent academic record and research experience. They should also have a high English language level. Candidates from any country may apply for these fellowships.
