About this scholarship
General Description
The Hildur Johnson Memorial Fund for Education award scholarships to police officers who studies at college. Additionally, the scholarship may be awarded for a field trip of particular value for the profession. The grants are awarded annually in retrospect, to study at home or abroad. The amount is set at maximum 13 000 SEK.
Requirements
Applicants should be a fully trained police officer (Exemption for police students who conducted special work abroad as part of their studies in the academy, may be granted a reduced amount), member of the police union. College studies should be useful for the profession, such as law, psychology and language. Field trip must relate to police work in another country. Max. 2 years since studies/field trip ended. You can only be awarded one grant for tha same purpose. Studies or field trips should be verified with grades, a course certificate or special work. You can be awarded up to 3 scholarships, however earlier amounts will be deducted.
