General Description

For the development of international co-operation and promoting Swedish research, the Joint Japan-Sweden Research Collaboration offers scholarships for projects. As part of the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT), the aim of the scholarship is to fund projects that promote both research and higher education.

Requirements

The applicant needs to be an active member of a university or other higher education facility, and have disputed. In order to qualify, this project should include a Japanese counterpart. One should not apply for this scholarship, if one is a member of another STINT project (excluding initiation scholarship).
