Action Austria - Slowakia  - Aktion Austria - Slovakia: Research grant for PhD Students (A to SK)

General Description

The Action Austria – Slovakia offers research grants for PhD students interested in a short-term research visit to Slovakia. A monthly amount of 940 euro will be provided for a maximum of 6 months; a travel allowance will also be granted.

Requirements

Applicants must be doctoral candidates enrolled at an Austrian higher education institution who have successfully completed at least one semester of their studies. The research topic chosen for their stay in Slovakia must be clearly related to the subject matter of their PhD. Candidates are required to submit two letters of recommendation from members of the academic staff of an Austrian higher education institution, as well as a letter from a member of the academic staff or a Slovak higher education institution accepting the role of academic supervisor of the applicant. Grants will be given to the candidates with the best academic performance. The age limit for applicants is set at 35 years old.
