General Description
The Austrian Academy of Sciences has established a doctoral fellowship programme to enable young, excellent doctoral candidates from all disciplines to carry out their dissertation project within a definable period of time. The financement available amounts to up to 35000 euro a year before tax, plus an additional yearly grant of 500 euro for travel expenses; it can be received for a period of 24 to 36 months.
Requirements
This fellowship is open to excellent doctoral candidates enrolled at an Austrian university or holding Austrian citizenship or permanent residence in South Tyrol. Applicants must have received their degree (Diplom/Master) no longer than two years before the 1st of January of the year of application.
