General Description

The University of Alcalá and the University Research Institute in American Studies "Benjamin Franklin" have 2 scholarships available for Master students to study at the Auburn University (Alabama State). The scholarships are designated for the MA programme in Hispanic Studies. The fellowship lasts two years and includes the enrollment of subjects and remuneration to be determined by the host university, around $ 14,400 per school year but the student must pay certain administrative fees (approximately $ 500 per semester). At the same time the student must perform tasks as an assistant professor and be responsible for a course in the Department of Spanish. This scholarship is aimed at students in Philosophy and Letters and Humanities and Philology mainly.

Requirements

Candidates must be enrolled at the University of Alcalá for the current academic. Candidates must have a very good knowledge of English with a TOEFL score of 80 or higher. Candidates should preferably have studied Philology, Humanities, Economics or Business. (The scholarship for graduate students is focused on the area of preferably studied Philology, Humanities, Economics or Business. Candidates will need to submit 3 letters of recommendation with the application. Candidates will need to have a bank letter to prove the availability of funds in the amount of €6,000 to €8,000.
