Government of France/Government of Estonia - Estonian scholarships for summer courses

General Description

The Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Estonia and the Ministry of Education Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France offer summer scholarships to French graduate students who wish to learn the Estonian language. Courses are offered in July and August at the University of Tartu or at the Tallinn University in Estonia. Master's students will receive 288 euros per month and doctoral students 385 euros per month to complete the language programme. Successful candidates will also be given 25 euros per day for accommodations. Tuition fees are also covered but students have to pay their own travel expenses to Estonia and back.

Requirements

The grants are open to master's and doctoral students of French nationality currently enrolled in a French university only. The scholarship does not lead to the awarding of a degree from an Estonian university, but credits may count towards the student's French degree.
