About this scholarship
Civil Engineer Bernhard Eisenreich Sandersen and Wife Ruth Sandersen's Foundation grant
You receive a one-off grant. The amount is not published and is set for each person individually. This private Danish foundation supports civil engineering students at master's level in three cases: a study stay abroad, studies made harder by illness, or general financial need. The money is paid once, around 23 January each year.
Who can apply
- Degree level: You are a master's student (in Denmark: kandidat). Bachelor and PhD students cannot apply.
- Field of study: You study civil engineering.
- Nationality: You are a Danish citizen.
- Where you study: You study at a Danish university.
- What the grant is for: You apply for a study stay abroad, for studies affected by illness, or because you are in financial need.
- Preferred: You have better chances if you have a disability (physical, cognitive or sensory), a mental illness, or a chronic or serious illness such as cancer or sclerosis. This helps but is not required.
How to apply
You apply through an online form by 2 November. Applications are reviewed in the weeks before the payout on 23 January. You only need a medical certificate if you apply because of illness.
If you are planning a study stay abroad or looking for further support as a civil engineering student, our guide Scholarships in Denmark may point you to additional funding options in Denmark.
