Teknikum Student Accommodation Scholarship of 1978 - Teknikum Student Accommodation Scholarship of 1978 Home

What you get

You will receive a one-off housing allowance of around 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR) to cover your rent whilst you are studying. The money comes from the IDA (Ingeniørforeningen i Danmark, the Danish Society of Engineers). The grant is awarded once a year in October or November. The number of grants awarded each year depends on the return the fund generates from its assets.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are currently studying on the Danish ‘Diplomingeniør’ bachelor’s degree programme, or have recently completed it and are continuing your studies in the same subject area.
• Field of study: Engineering in the B.Eng. programme
• Where you study: You are studying in Denmark. If you have recently graduated and would like to continue your studies, you can do so in Denmark or abroad – regardless of whether the course is practice-oriented or theoretical, as long as it remains within your field of study.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
• Financial need: You need help with your housing costs. You are not entitled to this assistance if you own a large house or have substantial savings or assets.
• Purpose: The money is intended to cover accommodation. It is not awarded for study trips as such.

How to apply

You should apply as an individual via the IDA’s online application system by 15 September. Decisions on the award of funding will be made in October or November, and payments will also be made during those months.
