Tanner Master C. W. Gericke's Scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant of around 800 EUR (about DKK 6,000) to help you complete your studies at a university of education in Denmark. The foundation determines the exact amount on a case-by-case basis, so you may receive more or less depending on your circumstances. The money comes from the estate of master tanner C. W. Gericke (Garvermester C. W. Gerickes Legat), a Danish foundation that supports talented young students who are unable to fully afford their education.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are studying at a state-run or state-recognised teacher training college (Seminarium) in Denmark.
• Where you use the grant: It is used for studying in Denmark, not for a period abroad.
• Financial need: You cannot cover the full cost of your studies on your own.
• Grades: You have strong academic results.
• Field of study: All fields are permitted.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
• Family of the founder: If you are a relative of the founder, are in need and meet all the other requirements, you will be given priority.

How to apply

Please ask the foundation’s administrator for an application form and return it once completed. The deadline is 30 November each year.
