About this scholarship
Benefit
You will receive a one-off grant to fund your Master’s degree in law at University of Copenhagen. Eyvind Olrik, a Danish judge at the Supreme Court, set up this fund together with his wife, Ida Olrik, to support law students in need of financial assistance. The exact amount is not disclosed. This fund is one of several smaller funds that the university awards collectively as joint scholarships (Fælleslegater). If you are selected, your funding will come from several funds within this group.
Eligibility
- Degree: You are studying for a Master’s degree in Law at the University of Copenhagen.
- Progress: You have already completed your Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Talented and in need: You have strong academic results and cannot fully fund your own studies.
- Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are enrolled at the University of Copenhagen.
How to apply
You apply once online via the University of Copenhagen’s joint scholarship programme (Fælleslegat) and tick the ‘Fælleslegat’ box. It is not possible to submit a separate application for this fund. The call for applications is published on the university’s intranet (KUnet; login required). The application deadline is 1 November. If you have not received a response by 15 February, your application was unsuccessful.
If you want to explore further funding options beyond this grant, our guide Scholarships in Denmark brings together scholarships and funding available across Denmark.
