Aage og Yelva Nimbs Fond - Aage and Yelva Nimb's Foundation

Aage and Yelva Nimb's Foundation grant

You will receive a one-off grant of 100,000 DKK (about 13,400 EUR) to fund a specific project, but not to cover your day-to-day living expenses. The foundation is a Danish charitable organisation based in Copenhagen. Every year, it awards two types of grants: honorary grants for Danish visual artists and travel grants for young people in business and commerce. Several people are selected in each round. In 2024, seven artists each received 100,000 DKK.

Who can apply

• What you do: You are a Danish visual artist (for the art grant), or a young person working or studying in business, commerce or economics (for the travel grant).
• Level for the business grant: You are a student, recent graduate or early-career researcher in commerce or economics. PhD students and student founders have been funded before.
• Nationality: You are Danish.
• Project: You have specific plans for the money, such as a study trip abroad or a particular project.

How to apply

There is no fixed deadline and no public online application form. You can apply at any time via the Foundation’s administrative office, a law firm in Copenhagen. A university may also nominate you for travel grants. The Board selects the recipients on the basis of the quality of the project.
