General Description
The Foundation of Research & Technology is looking for candidates interested in “Materials’ Physics”, and especially in electronic technologies associated with energy savings and energy efficiency applications, to apply for PhD studies. The PhD candidate will be trained in manufacturing methodologies for preparing materials of condensed matter, while he/she will gain the necessary knowledge for the characterization of their complex quantum mechanical properties. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to visit major research facilities in Europe or in the U.S.A. and to perform "state of art" techniques. Collaboration with academic institutions within and outside of Greece will allow the candidate to expand his/her scientific potential.
