General Description:

The Roland-Ernst Foundation supports the training of young scientists in the field of medicine and medical technology research, hospital management science, geriatrics and rehabilitation research and the health sciences. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded annually for a maximum of one year of study abroad in one of these fields. The monthly award is €500 to €800, depending on justification. Tuition fees of up to €2 500 and travel costs are covered.

Requirements:

Students and doctoral students who are enrolled at a university in Saxony are eligible. Applicants should already be in possession of first year academic results. Students and doctoral students from the fields of medicine, biomedicine, medical sociology, nursing sciences, engineering and the natural sciences with a focus on medical technology, bioengineering and biotechnology, hospital management and health sciences will be the preferred for this scholarship. Very good academic performance is required. Applicants must not have exceeded the age of 33.
