Benefit

GoEuro (a European travel company, now called Omio) ran a one-off competition for the 2016/2017 academic year. It awarded three cash prizes totalling EUR 4,000: EUR 2,000 for first place, EUR 1,500 for second, and EUR 500 for third. Each prize was a single payment towards the costs of studying and travelling in Europe.

This programme is closed. It ran for the 2016/2017 academic year only and has not been offered again.

Eligibility

  • Enrolment: You were enrolled at a recognised university or college for the 2016/2017 academic year.
  • Destination: Your semester abroad had to be in an EU or Schengen Area country.
  • Home university: Your institution had to appear on GoEuro's list of eligible universities.
  • Subject: Any field of study.
  • Nationality: Open to students from Canada, North America and New Zealand.
