Alumni Discount at the University of Bradford

You will receive a 10% discount on your tuition fees if you already hold a degree from the University of Bradford and are returning to study. The discount applies for the entire duration of your new degree programme. Every graduate of the University of Bradford is eligible for the same 10%, regardless of the grade you achieved or the year in which you graduated. This applies across the whole university and to all levels of study: Bachelor’s degrees, on-campus Master’s programmes and PhDs, regardless of whether you are studying full-time, part-time or via distance learning. If you are eligible for more than one discount or scholarship from the University of Bradford, you will only receive the one with the highest value.

Who can apply

• Your link to Bradford: You must have obtained a degree from the University of Bradford. A period of study abroad as part of an exchange programme (e.g. Erasmus) or the completion of a Bachelor’s degree at one of Bradford’s partner universities is also recognised.
• What you study next: You are progressing to the next level or returning to your studies, for example from a Bachelor’s to a Master’s or PhD programme, from a Master’s programme with taught modules to a PhD programme, or you are starting a second full-time degree programme at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• How you pay: You are funding your studies yourself. If a sponsor or employer is covering your tuition fees, you are not eligible to take part.
• Field of study: All subjects.
• Nationality: Any nationality, anywhere in the world.

How to apply

No registration is required. If you meet the eligibility criteria, the 10% discount will be automatically credited to your account. There is no deadline and no limit on the number of students who can receive this discount.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not an award that is presented following a competitive selection process. There are no places to be awarded and no selection process. If you are a graduate of the University of Bradford and are paying the fees for a new degree programme at the University of Bradford yourself, you will receive the discount automatically. The only question is whether you meet the requirements for self-funding and actually return to the university to study for a further degree.
