What the Emergency Loan gives you

You will receive a short-term loan from the University of Chichester to help you tide over an urgent financial problem. This can help you, for example, if your student grant payment is delayed or if you find yourself in an unexpected financial emergency. The university’s ‘Student Money Team’ offers this quick, temporary assistance until your regular funding arrives. There is no fixed amount and no set repayment terms. The amount you receive will depend on your individual circumstances. You should therefore book an appointment with a student finance adviser to find out what applies in your case.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are a student at the University of Chichester in the UK. This is not a study abroad programme.
• Your situation: Your funding has been delayed, or you are facing a sudden, unexpected financial crisis.
• Home students only: You are enrolled on a degree programme offered by the university itself. International students and students from partner universities are not eligible to apply.
• Field of study: All subjects are open.
